We often feel helpless in the face of a single natural disaster. It can be paralyzing to comprehend the damage created by back-to-back hurricanes.
Thankfully, community foundations and other charitable organizations are already in motion, working to provide immediate aid to those in need and mobilizing resources for long-term recovery. You can help by using your donor-advised fund to support the organizations responding in affected areas.

Grants made from charitable funds at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation are always reviewed to ensure that organizations receiving donations are 501(c)(3) public charities in good standing with the IRS. So, when you use your donor-advised fund to give, you know that your donations will go to those providing real help right now and into the future.
