An Introduction to Opportunity Zones: A Conversation with Ross Baird

A lesser-known aspect of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act provides a tax incentive for investors to invest in designated economically distressed areas across the country, known as Opportunity Zones. Ross Baird, national expert on Opportunity Zones, recently joined Whitney Hosty, Senior Philanthropic Advisor, to discuss how Opportunity Zones in Kansas City and across the country are spurring economic growth in low-income neighborhoods.

Listen to their conversation online.

Community Foundation donors interested in learning more about the role of philanthropy in Opportunity Zones are invited to join us for an upcoming Donor-to-Donor event on Friday, March 29. Space is limited. Please contact Sidney Peterson at 816.627.3414 or peterson@growyourgiving.org for more information.
