A Catalyst for Community Giving: A Conversation with Dr. Marjorie Williams

We had a conversation with Dr. Marjorie Williams, a driving force in Kansas City’s philanthropic community.

Known widely in the community as “Dr. Marj,” she recently received the 2019 Spirit of Philanthropy Award by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Mid America Chapter.

In celebration of Black Philanthropy Month, Dr. Marj sat down with Pat Macdonald, Senior Philanthropic Advisor and Executive Director of the Black Community Fund, to discuss Dr. Marj’s work as a dedicated champion for Kansas City’s Black and African American communities.

Take a listen as Dr. Marj shares the impact she makes through philanthropy and volunteering, inspiring many in the Kansas City community to give back.

Listen to their conversation online.
